Here's how I plan to vote - and what I recommend:

K	Office Development Controls (Mayor)	Both this and Prop. L would be DISASTROUS for the city - they would cause more displacement and further drive up office rents. Vote no on both!
L	Office Development Controls (Sue Hestor)	This measure would cause exactly what it's trying to prevent: more displacement. By preventing more office development, it would cause ofice rents to go up even faster, forcing out nonprofits and others from existing office space. Meanwhile, we'd drive out high-paying jobs and increase reverse commuting and urban sprawl. VOTE NO!
M	Taxicab Permits	Yet another attempt by the taxi industry to get corporate medallions - and no benefits to the consumers.
N	Controls on Rental Conversions	Tenancy in Common is one of the few affordable ways to buy a home in SF. Don't get rid of it.
O	Public Campaign Finance	We desperately need campaign finance reform. This is half as expensive as the Children's Fund extension - and will be much more effective as it will help take big money out of politics.
P	Hunters Point Clean-Up	Definitely. But this is only a declaration of policy, so it won't have much impact.
Q	Pedestrian Safety Fund	Only a declaration of policy, but we certainly should make the streets safer.
R	Pier 45	No more tourist traps on the Embarcadero. Only a declaration of policy, but Pier 45 should really be used for educational purposes, not as another Fisherman's Wharf.
