Hello themecamps: I hope it's not too late to submit this! bioluminati will, in short, clean up all its shit and leave the camp area better than we found it. Our Earth Guardians will be Andrew Sullivan (me, also the owner of the bioluminati mailing list and the submitter of the themecamp questionnaire on June 15), andrew@sulli.org / 415 673 0626, and Caryn Ryan, carynryan@hotmail.com / 415 674 9565. We will be the last to leave and make sure all the garbage is taken out. We don't expect to have major activities that will generate excess garbage. The public will be invited to chill in the dome and enjoy drinks at our discretion (Bloody Marys in the am, maybe red wine in the evening, more as people donate booze). Our kitchen will only be for our camp and honored guests. Glass and metal will be recycled. Plastic will be smashed into tiny bits and recycled. Garbage will be taken out in strong odor-proof garbage bags and driven to an open landfill or back to Sunset Scavenger in San Francisco. We don't plan to have any fires on the playa surface. We may have a barbecue, whose coals and ash will go in the garbage. We'll have a shower with a wood-over-tarp floor to collect and evaporate grey (and blue and green and red) water. We don't plan to dump grey water on the playa surface - it evaporates nicely off the tarp. After we strike camp, we will as in years past walk the area and a bit of the playa as well, picking up every last bit of trash, leaving the desert surface only marked by our feet, hands, and bottoms, bidding it a fond farewell until BRC returns once again in 2003. If you have ?s or !s please email back. Thanks Andrew
